  • Just. Not. Listening!

OT can help.

In alliance with our mission to provide care for all, we are bringing an experienced and visionary approach to providing occupational therapy to parents and kids. We are not a band-aid. We are not “just massage.” We are a leading wellness clinic in Calgary, dedicated to using a whole-body solution -  including the brain! - to help kids feel calm, safe and strong, regardless of their ability.

A combined 60 years of experience with our Founders and OT team, gives us the evidence-based and clinical edge not provided anywhere else in Calgary.

Our OT approach brings a trauma, polyvagal and sensory regulation approach to your child’s skills and confidence.

We partner with parents to bring about lasting change.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Great question! You and your child will meet with our OT at our <offices>. We will perform a FUN session, including parent interview, clinical assessment and introduction to the Safe and Sound listening program and in depth information in sensory regulation.

We help parents learn the skills to build a healthier brain and body for their child during our first few in person sessions. After that, parents carry out the program AT HOME with weekly Zoom check ins from the OT team for support and problem solving.

We find this approach decreases busy commute time and increases the life long skills of a child’s best therapist - their parents!

  • We typically recommend 10 OT sessions.

The first session will be at our clinic in our specially designed pediatric therapy room.

The next 2-9 will be with the OT team over Zoom, mostly to help parents learn the skills to build a healthier brain and body for their child and implement at home.

The last sessions will be back in person at our clinic to re-evaluate and provide support for moving forward and making lasting success after OT.
