Practicing as a massage therapist, holistic nutritional consultant, and doula has been the most rewarding work for Jolaine, second only to parenting her two beautiful souls! She believes that approaches to well-being and vitality do not fall under a ‘one size fits all’ umbrella. What leads to wellness in one person’s life may not necessarily work for another. It is a process that evolves over time, changing through each stage of life, even changing with the seasons.
Jolaine embraces diversity, inclusivity, and removing barriers. She loves to connect with people and share stories of strength, hope, and self-discovery. Engaging from a place of compassion, she is passionate about creating meaningful connections and supporting personal growth. Jolaine acknowledges that life and being human is not always simple, as we run towards a finish line that keeps moving. She understands that real progress is slow; sometimes the steps forward are small, and sometimes just not losing ground is the win we need most.
Working closely with children reminds Jolaine to be present, playful, and curious. She admires how young people are always seeking new challenges and opportunities to feel, explore, and soar beyond limitations. Jolaine believes we can all benefit from letting our inner child guide us more often. A goal setter by nature, she also allows herself the opportunity and forgiveness to fail, sometimes miserably, believing that these moments are where we best learn, dust off our pants, and carry forward.
Jolaine finds sanity and clarity in nature and is always dreaming of her next adventure. She believes that all humans deserve the right to live their biggest life, however they decide to do that. Serving families and the greater community well is her sincere intention and heartfelt privilege.
Trish Williams
Registered Occupational Therapist
Trish is our superstar, OT extraordinaire!
Having been an OT for over 30 years, an adjunct professor at two OT graduate programs and business coach for other OT’s - you could sat she knows a thing or two!
Trish’s areas of focus:
Sensory and stimulation
ADD/ADHD
Focus and attention
Polyvagal
and making connections!
-
Trish always knew she wanted a career in a helping field, but wasn’t sure what direction to take. So while teaching adapted aquatics alongside an OT in University, she asked, "What do you do exactly?" - and found her new focus.
Trish has now been an Occupational Therapist for almost 30 years, as a clinician, Adjunct Professor in two Canadian OT graduate programs, a clinic owner and an OT entrepreneur coach.
In 2014 Trish started Spring Occupational Therapy, a pediatric multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic, which was born out of her desire to provide a boutique, high touch experience for families and kids with sensory needs. Professionally, she is proudest of building two six figure businesses, and making the switch from therapist to CEO. Trish embraces that role by providing the same high-end client experience for her therapy families and to OT entrepreneurs as a business coach. Her business niche is helping OTs grow and scale their businesses and to ensure they get paid their worth!
Most recently Trish felt the need to return to seeing the families and the little ones she missed while working online with OT entrepreneurs. With this, she has partnered with her friend (and former client!) Jess Villeuvue to help develop and deliver OT services for their pediatric population.
It was her desire to help build another business, the itch to re-connect with families and children and the mission of Same Stars Wellness that prompted Trish to start her work with this amazing company.
Most importantly, she is mother to two glorious young adults and a devoted sister and aunt. She resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but her summer heart lives in Muskoka, Ontario, where she spends July by the lake at her former summer camp and surrounded by her people.
